I thought the latest version of directory had the capability to export
to flash format. I think its Director 7.2 or along those lines, I know
that Director 7 cannot though.

If I'm totally wrong then I apologise but I'm pretty sure I heard
something to that affect in a press release and a product review ( PC
PRO ).

Totally incorrect! Director 7 can have Flash 4 files INSIDE of it.
