I always used Sound Forge XP. It costs $50 or so, and it did everything I
needed for my work with Flash, which primarily was sample rate conversion,
editing, normalization, simple dynamic compression and EQ. And I find the
interface to be much nicer and easier to use than the shareware
alternatives.

But, now I work for Sonic Foundry, and I suppose my opinion is suspect.

Hello again everybody,

I have a quick question pertaining to sound in Flash, yet it's not directly
related to Flash.

What is a good program to get to edit and create sound for use in my files?
If anyone has any answers, I'd appreciate it. Also, if any of you have
experimented with the best sound export settings for a good mix of quality
and size, that would help too if you could let me know how your results came
out.
