FLASH: buttons and drag movie clip

[Araxia-1]

I have made a flash file that utelises the drag movie clip command 

assigned to a frame. I am finding that buttons in the same scene 

will not operate mouseover events until they are clicked. It seems 

you must click them once to make them active and show their 

rollover states and click again to carry out their assigned action. 

Any ideas around this? I notice that the buttons on the yugop site 

work fine.
