Your best bet would be to utilize the hundreds of CGI scripts that are
available on the Web. You can call CGI from within Flash movies, so there's
really no reason to reinvent the wheel here. Not to mention the amount of
time to debug and implement is just not worth it. Although this site is not
e-commerce, I designed and implemented it within a week. It uses 3 separate
CGI scripts to perform its tasks, but with a shopping cart script, it easily
could have become an e-commerce site. The URL just for reference is
