Hi,

I agree with Mark. I just started using Flash over the summer; taking it in
one of my multimedia graduate courses. I expected to really learn an
extensive amount about Flash, but time does not permit the instructors to go
over every single detail. We used a book called, "Flash 3 Web Animation" by
Ken Milburn and Janine Warner. I have Flash 4, but still use Flash 3.

As was already recommended, Doing the tutorials from www.webmonkey.com is
quite helpful. You will find that the more time you spend doing the
tutorials, the more that you learn. Keep in mind that if you do the
tutorials once you've learned something new, but if you do them over and
over or try to do it on your own, you will retain what you've learned.

Good luck :-)

Sonja
