Hi Karin,
Not only would that be proper, it would be essential. Even if it is
only as an aid to those who have trouble remembering what work they
created and what work they are just borrowing. Seriously though, as a
matter of course you should have a copyright notice on all your work,
even if it is in a small, unobtrusive place. If the work is for a client
who does not want your copyright notice to appear then discuss it with
them. The symbol can come off the movie but the copyright is yours.
