Subject: | FLASH: efficient flash site design |

Hi everyone,
Does anybody know about a good book or other source, which is going into
details of the process of creating an efficient flash site. Like: when to
use scenes and when to use movies. As well as the overall timing and
creating process of the site.
I am not an expert in Flash, but I think I can create a nice site with lot's
of different effects. The problem is the file size. I know you can do
optimization, but if you plan your site from the beginning, you minimize
that process.
I did take some Flash classes already, but they didn't even teach the tell
target functions. For most of my sites I am using scenes, which I think is
not the right thing to do, because I copy and paste a lot of the same
symbols on every scene.
You can check one of my site's at www.triwfx.com, maybe you can get an idea
of what I am talking about. If there are any people interested in maybe
meeting once a week for a flash chat and you are in the Long Beach, CA area,
please contact me at: michaelhenselyahoo [dot] com (mailto:michaelhenselyahoo [dot] com).
I hope someone can help me teaching me the basics of creating a site
navigation (Tell Target/Movie/Scene).
Also, thanks to Branden for you helpful input, you are a true flash master.
I just signed up for an advanced Flash class with Scott Hamlin in February
in Atlanta, hopefully he will be able to help.
Thanks for any input
Michael Hensel
