hi all--

i have a question.

i want to create a button. when the user clicks this button i would
like to have a movie clip run. at the end of this movie clip the object
in the clip "disappears". can this be done?

basically, what i want to do is have 6 objects on the stage in a scene.
when the user clicks one object an animation plays (inside the button)
and then it disappears. this action should occur with all of the objects
so the user is left with no choices on stage.

when i try to have a button and on the down state the animation occurs,
it works, but as soon as i release the button the animation reappears.

can anyone help me on this dreary turkey
