This generates numbers from 0 to 19 change to:

set variable x = Random (20) + 1

 

> and the swf are named  mov1.swf to mov20.swf

> 

> set variable seq = "mov" &x ".swf"

> load seq (or seq.swf) does not work and generates an error.

You are missing a second ampersand:

set variable seq = "mov" & x & ".swf"
