FLASH: selecting one or a few frames through layers in Flash 5!!

This operation was so easy in Flash 4. You could hightlight one frame in a 

vertical manner, i.e. going through all the layers.. Now in Flash 5 it seems 

impossible to do since it highlights big chunks at a time.. Am I missing 

something?
