FLASH: flash talking to director..help!

Hi there people...


I have a little problem.  I am trying to make a Flash 4 movie work in

Director.  I have been using Director for a long time but never used

with Flash...so I am following the directions on the Director user guide

(page 396) it doesn't work.  Can somebody help me with this?  I know a

should subscribe to a Director list but.... I was hoping getting some

help here..
