Subject: FLASH: playback speed inconsistency
From: Edwin Allen
Date: Fri, 10 Nov 2000 11:18:11 GMT

hi all,

i have developed a series of flash files that are inconsistent in their playback speeds. the files are small (10K to 40K) and contain from 2 to 12 frames. playback speeds vary from 0.2 fps to 0.7 fps. the frames are all static frames of line art and text (no tweening). when first viewed via the web, the first frame plays very fast and subsequent frames are much slower. if the movie is rewound and played again, the overall movie speed consistency is much better. if the movie is closed and reopened, it again is inconsistent in playback speed.

thanks :)
