Subject: FLASH: escape a charater
From: Daniel Guerrier
Date: Mon, 13 Nov 2000 14:00:59 GMT

I have a function that excepts a sting as a parameter.
I need to pass the path to a movieclip to the
function.
i.e _root.MC.clip

When I call the funtion ex:
_root.function.clip("_root.MC.clip")

The dots and underscore are striped from the string.
How do I escape the charters to keep from getting
striped. I already tried putting a / before each .
