Hi Ronan,
100% and Showall is a good solution for Flash but you must be aware that
items off Stage may appear in the browser Window as the Canvas is
expanded to fill the whole window without distorting or losing any of
the Stage. The solution is to not leave items on the outside of the
Stage until needed and make sure you bring them in from far enough out
that your desired effect will be as intended for various Aspect Ratios
that the browser window may be when visitors come to your site.
You can manually cover off stage (or on stage) objects with a filled
rectangle (or other shape as needed) matching the backgound. This is
usually used when you bring in objects early as part of your loading
scheme.
