John Dowdell recently posted these suggestions, which are quite valuable:
-- IE/Mac browsers have difficulty with local embedded content. While testing, put the contents on a server... even a local personal web server will help during development for that browser.
-- Watch your browser detection scripts: IE/Mac cannot tell JavaScript its multimedia capabilities, and so many canned scripts shunt IE/Mac users to a page they know the visitor can handle.
-- The one-or-all-movies test helps determine whether the content is at play.
-- The one-or-all-sites test helps determine whether the installation is
at play.
If you're seeing intermittent playback from known-to-be-good sites, then one of the first things to check in IE/Mac is the memory situation on that system.
