FLASH: The case of the disappearing menu

Hi Flashers,


I've been quite busy on non Flash projects these last days, but while

experimenting with sounds with Flash this came up and I'm not sure what

is going on.

A bit of background on the case :

Imagine the following code, and yes it's not production quality, in a

.html file :

<EMBED SRC="playswa.dcr" width="1" height="1" swURL="sound.swa">

<EMBED SRC="movie.swf" WIDTH=640 HEIGHT=480 PLAY=TRUE QUALITY=HIGH

MENU=TRUE LOOP=FALSE>

Ok so you see what I'm doing. Now why doesn't the menu come up when I

click over the movie ?

If I change the order of the embed's, i.e. first the movie.swf then the

playswa.dcr I can access the menu.

In the first case who is playing the movie.swf ?
