Subject: | FLASH: Choppy playback, etc. |

Hi. I just started using Flash the other day, so I need some basic
help.
I made my first movie the other day in a couple hours. Everything
looked really good in the Test Movie, but when I exported it to the web,
my playback becomes really choppy and I lose antialiasing of graphics
and text every once in a while. I have a couple ideas of what's going
wrong, but I'm not sure.
(1) The file is only 48KB, so I doubt my problems are a result of the
movie not loading quickly enough. Still, How do you make a "Loading..."
loop in a movie so that it waits for the entire movie to load before
playing?
(2) When I used Aftershock to make the web page to play the movie, I
chose the Shockwave Only option for playback. Is that a bad idea? I
don't really understand the differences between the options.
If you want to take a look at the movie "as-is", it's at
http://www.dlcwest.com/~gborycki/. Be kind, I know it's bad.
Please, if anyone out there can give me some tips to fix this problem,
send me an e-mail at tboryckihotmail [dot] com. Thanks.
Trevor Borycki
