Here's something I've just started doing, if you don't mind using two buttons
instead of one.
Make a Sound On button, and insert your sound in its Down frame, setting it
to loop a bunch of times if you need it to keep playing indefinitely. Then
make a Sound Off button, and in its down frame insert the same sound file,
but set its Sync attribute to Stop. That's the whole deal. It's simple,
doesn't involve any navigation, and doesn't affect the animation timeline
or interfere with any other sounds that need to play. I haven't used it
much yet so I can't vouch there are no issues down the road.
Can someone with more experience with buttons can figure out a spiffy way
to do this with one button?
