That effect will work if the mask and object you are masking are in their on
symbol
state. Make the circle hole a symbol then tween it moving around the screen(you
can also add it to a guide path)(it will still mask). then place what ever you
want seen through it underneath(lower layer(masked) and then drag symbol onto
main timeline
and play, or you could make it a movie clip.(decrease file size).
