Regardless, I've been working with bitmapped images. First I bring them
in and lock the layer they are on. Secondly I create a layer on top of
the bitmap layer and hand trace the 3D image then I discard the
bitmapped image in order to slim the .swf down. This method works well
with out playback being sluggish.
Hint: Turn on onion skinning to see how smooth your movement is turning
out as you go... I believe that the closer together each rotational
movement in your 3D object is the smoother your 3D rotation will be in
playback.

No it was not brought out yesterday that NRG brought in
the bitmaps...
Since NRG said they did not "bring in" bitmaps to begin
with. They
brought in the Vector files put out by Corel...
Bitmapping was in no
way involved in that process (according to NRG).
