Tracing bmps and importing in ai increase file size in swf.
The technique I stated is difficult and time consuming but creating with
Flash3's vector tool keeps file size to a minumum. A fraction of what
importing vector format will do.

check the file size of importing vector images from Corel and then the file
size
of importing 8bit bmp and you'll see theres not much difference in file
size. There
both large.

Peter used Flash3's vector tools to create his NRG 3D logo fonts, if he
imported anything it was just for reference only and then discarded.
Hopefully that answered your question.
