Hiya Alice,
Place a gradient alpha circle over the object with the inner color opaque
and the outer
color transparent.
You can do this with the gradient tags in the gradient window. Play around
with the
slider on the far right of the window to see how the alpha channels work.
Make sure
you press the color tags on the color bar to active the slider for their
alpha levels.
