RE: FLASH: Communicating about adding Flash to apps (with Director 6.5)

My company is currently using Flash to create interactive CD Rom

presentations for our company and a few others.  It is several Flash

movies strung together in a Director 6.5 shell.  We found it was very

poor on MM's part not to intergrate Flash 3 capabilities into Director

6.5, instead of only Flash 2 capabilities, as Flash 3's new functions

would have helped us out greatly.  MM's answer to this was that Director

6.5 was released prior to the final version of Flash 3 (reality about 1

month).  You would think that The department heads would have found away

around this, since it would have been a better marketing tool.

Basically we are stuck with running Flash 2 movies (which isn't too

horrible) but not the perfect scenario.  Great idea to integrate Flash,

but poorly executed....
