You nailed it...I had already found it out, however...

I find it somewhat odd that I have to define a button as a button twice, but
I'm not going to be the guy who bites the hand that feeds me. You'd think,
however...ah, nevermind. I get way too much help on here to start off one
of those threads that gets someone pissed off because of usability features
or lack thereof...

Double click on the button symbol and check it's "behavior". Make sure its
on
"button".
Sounds like it might be on "graphic" or "MC"
