Thank you John,
Would it be possible to get some shop examples, built with Flash (URLs)?

You're right... validation, order-processing, fulfillment and delivery,
back-tracking of orders are all significant differences between various
commerce systems. If you're evaluating backends, then those factors define
some of the different niches.
For the front end it's usually easier. Most all commerce systems use a
basic browser mechanism. They don't care what browser you're using...
they'll just listen for properly-phrased URL requests.
Flash can use GET and POST just like browser forms. When played in a
browser we can piggyback on their HTTPS encryption for secure transactions:

You'd need to know how to use Flash to send and receive data -- you'd need
to have a good handle on Flash interactivity. You'd also need to be able to
examine the types of requests the commerce server expects, and to replicate
them in Flash... looking at URLs from browser samples can help. It's also
possible that some systems may insist on a browser, although that's usually
rare.
Generally, the commerce server would not usually even know that it's Flash,
rather than a browser, that's placing the order. The bigger variables are
on the back end than on the front end.
