Good advice for using any presentation type program
I'm aware of. The places I've worked doing CD-ROM and
Web work, we always have machines of various processor
speeds and OSs to test our output, whether it is PPT,
Director, Flash, or html. As for transitions, etc. I
guess the use depends on the market. Doing commercial
work in Director, we almost never used the built in
transitions, makes a project look low budget. Once you
have built a library of original transitions, effects,
buttons, etc. in Flash you can of course re-use them,
and their uniquness adds to your corporate identity,
if such is important.

However, if you just need to get a very basic
presentation out the door quicktly, and are less
concerned about esthetics, etc. than flash may not be
the best app. for your use.
