when you scale a movie to 100% it generally only fits the largest axis of the movie in, and can leave one edge floating away from the intended area. try making the movie wider before publishing it, or set your publish settings differerntly (sorry, never bothered in flash 4, but aftershock had a setting for it in flash 3)

Subject: FLASH: a question of edges

Hi all,
I have a small problem I have logo that ideally would sit on the left hand edge of my shockwave file actually touching the edge of the document on the left(I think you get the idea)
anyway I am unable to achieve this as every time I publish or test this file it sits it not on the edge but about 5cm away I have tried the publisher setting(Flash 4 by the way) aligning right and all that although it is on the edge in the stage it does not do as I wish......any ideas I am using a flash document set at 100% H and width for a 800x600 stage I thought it would scale the stage and fit into window but instead it appears to place it in the middle?????Is this all because of my monitor settings 1024x768 but I thought the idea of scaling was just that it should scale?????
I once again hope this makes sense thanks in advance to the guru's
Stuart
