I have a preloading question...I've just finished a Flash project for a
company who's gone through a name change and wanted to let everyone know
who viewed their site...the question is are there cases where the
animation will run without fully loading a preloader? I've used the
standard "label name preloader" with a looping intro...If "preloader is
loaded then go to "main movie" and play. All of the "main movie" symbols
are in the preloader. The weird things is..is well, it works fine on my
server but not on theirs....on theirs, the music stops, animation runs
over itself...bleah!
Maybe it's the streaming background music..I don't know...I don't have
it set to stream until the main movie is playing...
The company doesn't seem to mind because it only shows up on a slow
dialup connection and their customers are all large concerns with
sizable bandwidth. The webmaster says it may be that it's running on a
UNIX box which really doesn't sound right...anybody else run into this
problem?
