Generator 1 would be fine... but I would recommend using Flash 4 for this

application since

a.) Flash 4 can do this nativly, you don't need generator.

b.) If you do decide to use Generator, you can use Generator 2, which has

huge improvements over gen1 in all areas.

Hi all,


I'm looking for help with a site that I'm developing for a client.

I need to make the Sports Ticker on the right of the home page into some

kind of updateable scrolling feed. The client has acess to live sports feeds

but how to get em into my flash movie is over my head.


Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. There are some programmers

here, at the comapany I'm working for, that I can utilize if I can come up

with a strategy. I'm told Generator might not be able to serve up enough

info for a lot of visitors to the site. Any idea about what the max would be

for a ticker like this served with generator.
