Nope, sorry to say... Gen1 works with Flash 3, Gen2 works with Flash 4...

you can't switch 'em around at all.  If you need help with Gen2 stuff, go

ahead and ask here on the list, I just gave one of my co-workers, Chrissy

Rey, a hand in writing the official MM classroom material for Generator 2

:-).  As for Gen1, I know there is a lot of info on it available at

Thanks for the tips. My client doesn't want to use Flash 4 because they

believe

it's not on enough of the visitors computers.


I guess I need to learn some Generator then. Can I use Gen2 with

a movie exported as Flash 3?

Generator 1 would be fine... but I would recommend using Flash 4 for this

application since

a.) Flash 4 can do this nativly, you don't need generator.

b.) If you do decide to use Generator, you can use Generator 2, which has

huge improvements over gen1 in all areas.

kind of updateable scrolling feed. The client has acess to live sports feeds

but how to get em into my flash movie is over my head.
