Yes, I was reading something about that the other day in PC Week.
Can you imagine, Apple is still in business, although they're not
making the Apple II any more.

For apps that need it, it's the only way. Still, structured static
3D rendering is very useful.

That depends, too. They might play some tricks that would pre-render
the object along certain rotation sequences. For example, you could
limit your motion to two particular rotation sequences, and only let
the visitor turn the object to the side, or turn it upside-down.
