Subject: FLASH: Plug in default addresses
From: Jefferis

Hi folks...

I was in conversation with Shockwave folks about the possibility of
losing customers of Flash do to the hefty download requirements for
Flash. I was given the suggestion of directingclients to the alternate
Flash only site, but I wasn't given a clear answer.
Maybe someone can help here:

**************

Active X and plug in detection on browsers gives the following code:
pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/download/index.cgi?P1_Prod

_Version=ShockwaveFlash">
</object></td>

To send people to the Flash only site, should I just add /alternates/
between /download and /index.cgi?

Jeff
