FLASH: Loading Variables - long enough?

I'm having some problems with this message board that i am building.


If anyone remembers me posting about it earlier this month.


We are loading the variables from an .asp file and it seems that it takes

forever to load them.

Not to mention that when I try to duplicate a movieclip (messages) i can't

mask the duplicates...



help.
