Thank you very much for anyone who helped me with this, you guys rock!! For
information purposes I will just post the command to pass variables from
Director into Flash fields:
setVariable( sprite 1, "text1", "how's it going?" )
text1 is the instance name of the text field, how's it giong is the text to
put into the field. If any of you Director wizards could help me figure a
way of bringing the text file into director and parsing it into this set
variable command it would be extremely appreciated!! Thanks again for all
the help!
