Subject: | FLASH: Splitting Out audio |
From: | Gary Mullins |

I just received a Quicktime movie from a client who wanted me to split
the audio out for another use. No problem I thought, I have done that
plenty of times. Turns out this is a Flash animation turned into a
Quicktime movie.
I have tried to break it out with several programs but always get an
error about not having a sound track. I have used Media Cleaner Pro,
Soundedit, Premiere to no avail. MovieTrax shows no audio track, and
nothing but dimensions in Visual Track, but it list "flsh" in the
general track. Is there any way to slit the audio from this type of
file. I am stumped, a simple 20 minute project has turned into 3 hours
of wasted time.
I asked the client if they have the original sound files, but they are
missing 2 segments of the voice over that are critical, so I can only
create about 2/3 of the audio. This is something that is critical to
them so I need to figure it out.
Any suggestions.
Thanks
Gary
