I actually went ahead and bought the Flash for Windows and MacIntosh :
Visual Quickstart Guide, and so far it seems to be pretty good for
beginners. I bought it so my roomates could learn Flash (they have no
experience). It's also nice because it's pretty darn inexpensive -- only
$15.19 from Amazon.com.

In addition to the Flash 4 books already listed on Amazon.com, there are 2
more coming out that I know of. The Flash 4 Bible and Flash 4 Magic should
both be out by mid-December. I was a contributing author/technical editor
for both books, so of course I'm going to recommend you buy both ;-)

I am looking for books to get stated with flash.
I know John's book Flash 4 Web Animation F/X and Design is due to be
publised in December...
John, Will this help the starters?? Or is this for advance users??
Also in the meantime can you/anyone suggest any other book?
Thanks.
