This should not be neccessary if you use guides, don't scale objects on
the main timeline (sclae in the synmbol editor) and know how to
calculate the offset.
SymbolXpos = MainXpos - (.5 x MovieWidth)
SymbolYpos = MainYpos - (.5 x MovieHeight)
MainXpos = SymbolXpos + (.5 x MovieWidth)
MainYpos = SymbolYpos + (.5 x MovieHeight)

It gets more complicated. But as Karin pointed out if you want to line
up by the upper left hand corner create the original MC (that you will
target) with its upper left hand corner at the center of the symbol edit
window.

No
In general if you are planning to use Load Movie as a site stucture
create or convert all your movies to a common movie size.
Use Load into Target to replace moving MC objects or MCs that positions
are dynamically changed. Also, use Load into Target to add movies
originally created as Flash but you no longer have the FLA for, and
therefor can't change the movie size easily.
