FLASH: menu buttons on/off

Hello,


I need some advice on  the following.


I have a movieclip for menu buttons. In that movieclip the buttons move to

their location in the main movie.


Is it possible when you click on button one, that the button one becomes

inactive( e.g. change it into a  symbol) and how ?

The next problem is to make the button one active again when another button

is pressed.


Are there any tutorials available on this or can someone explain me how I

can do this?
