RE: FLASH: Sound Question - Stop Sound

Thanks. The sound toggle movie clip works great except for one thing that

has me pulling my hair out. The default is sound on and I can turn it off

with the button fine. I am using a hierarchial menu and for some reason the

music starts playing again when I press a menu button that plays an

previous section of the timeline(i.e press button 2= goto,play frame 10;

then press button 1=goto,play frame 5). The playhead is not passing over the

keyframe of the sound movieclip which starts the sound (it is earlier in the

timeline), yet the sound startsanytime a button plays a previous frame. The

menu buttons also have sound attached to the over and down states, so I

tryed changing the sync for those sounds among other things, but I still

cant figure out why the sound keeps starting up again. Shouldn't the movie

clip timeline be independent of the main timeline? Any suggestions would be

a great help. Thanks.
