hmm...   I don't think there is any way to save the fla file as a flash 3 file.  Are there any specific questions you have about how to do this effect that I could maybe answer?  Or if you I can throw together a website detailing how I did it and including a bunch of screenshots for you.

Always glad to help,

Hi Tim,
Thanks for the file. Although, I couldn't open the fla file. Am using flash 3 on Windows.
Is there a way I could see the fla file? Would appreciate if I could. Thanks again.

Ok let me see if I can explain how I did it :)
It was made using 100% tweening.  One thing you have to keep in mind here is that part of the time the letters are in front of the 'i' and part of the time they are behind it and therefore you need 2 layers for each letter that is moving; one for when the letter is in front and one for when its in back.

Well i'm not sure where to go from there so I just uplaoded the file.  You can get it here: http://www.ucdesign.com/flash/rotatingi.zip
If you have questions after looking at the file let me know and I'll try and answer them.
