Title: RE: FLASH: newbie question

double click on the frame you want to add the stop script to and you will get a properties window where u will see an actions tab. Click on the actions tab and choose stop from the menu there.

Hi John
Sorry to appear dumb.
I cannot find a "stop action" in any of the menu options.. I have tried to
consult Flash help but when I choose flash help from the help menu I get a
dns error! I have checked and the help files are all resident on my HDD and
accessible via a double click in Windows Explorer but not from within F4.
What gives??
