Subject: | FLASH: can't get a URL to link up! |

Hi friends, this is one of those more
urgent, keeping my job kind of questions. I was on this list before, and never
posted, and now I know this is the biggest collective of knowledge, so I thought
I would give this a shot, after trying all kinds of help files, tutorials, and
random web readings so much until my eyes fell out. I'm fairly new to flash, but
this is what i'm trying to do:
I am making flash "postcards" for a
record label to promote the bands' new albums. This will be passed around
external from a browser as a .swf or an .exe. I have a links section, which each
link links to a URL of course (ie http://www.jsolar.com) and I can't seem to get
it to open up a browser when clicked on.
I'm told from others in irc channels that
if i just link it as i would if this were a web embeded file, it should work,
however its not.
Any help? Please? :-) I'm not sure if you
would rather email me personally or to the list since this could possibly be
very easy compared to the majority of discussion, so either way is
fine!
Much appreciated...
Janelle
