Yes -- fix it (sorry, couldn't resist). That is, right-click on the layers
and reset the attributes; the labels are logical and you're right, it's not
correct now (Flash4 sometimes changes them without asking). Mask layer
should be set to mask. Text layer should be set to Masked. Motion Guide
should be set to Motion Guide (not "Guide" or anything else).

This will solve your problem. I had a similar problem that drove me nuts,
'cause I never expected Flash to reset the layer attributes. This is
something you need to check after adding a mask layer or moving things around.
