Dude, you keep thinking like that and you might miss a helluva party.
I'm willing to celebrate both years.
Personally, I measure things starting at zero. I don't really care if
some liberal arts major, named Greg, screwed up a couple thousand years
ago and started our calendar at one. And then, some other liberal arts
major, remembers that stupid detail and tries to carry forth the error.
It ain't our fault the first millennium was only 999 years long.
And, I don't feel that pointing to the US government official time
keeper's position equates to proof.
