The way the shield swings and how much is based on a calculation of the

amount of change in the x position from frame to frame and then a

corresponding amount of rotation is applied to the shield. ActionScript

is cool...


You would use Get Property to check the x positions, 

calculate the amount of change and 

then use Set Property and apply a rotation to the shield 

which is a separate MC inside of the whole shield fixture. 


Note, the center point of the shield would be above the top of the

shield.


Using ActionScript and properties is much better than tweening because

the amount of control you have is much greater and it is much easier to

fine tune.
