Which brings me back to my original question: "Why?". If you are going to
play a DV from CD then use the tool best suited to the task at hand. One
is Director. Another if QuickTime. Should we , as professionals, not be
concentrating on producing products that maximize existing technology
rather than trying to wrap products around the wrong technology? It just
doesn't make sense.

I put trying to play QT through Flash right up there with lighting your
BBQ with an atom bomb rather than a match. Both will light the sucker but
one uses the wrong technology to achieve the same ends. And one always
winds up with a substandard result.
