Inside your button, put the following actions:

On (release)
Go To and Play({Scene Name/Numeer}, 1)
End On

Where you see {Scene Name/Number}, select the scene you want to go to. You
will find it in the drop down menu on the right.

I am trying to move between scenes when the user clicks a button in a movie
clip which is on the stage. How do I do it?
