Hi Dustin,


Exchanging very offen images with clients/freelancers/partners etc..., this is a comment problem here.

We never finded the exact reason (probably a differant encoding procedure like for sounds).

The solution we use: open it with ACDSee which should be able to read it even if it is coded in a differant way and just convert/save as with ACDSee. The programm will recode it in the proper way. Open the new version in Photoshop.
