Subject: | FLASH: Is this possible? |

Hi there
I am making a game in Flash 5 and I am not sure if it is possible to do
everything I would like it to do.
Basically the game will be distributed on a cdrom (pc and mac). The idea of
the game is like "mastermind" (not the tv program). Basically there are four
garages each with a different vehicle in them. The user has to guess what is
in these garages by placing vehicles infront of each garage (there are 6
different vehicles to choose from). Once they place a vehicle in front of
each garage they press a button and the computer tells them how close to the
correct solution their answer was. i.e if they placed the right vehicle
infront of the correct garage they get a blue star, if they place one of the
correct vehicles in front of the wrong garage they get a red star. So
basically they get 8 attempts to guess the contents of the garages based on
the feedback on each successive guess.
Right - well thats the game - no problem making that in itself. But what I
would like to do is enable them to create a "game" to send to a friend. i.e
they would place the vehicles in the garage and then the friend receiving
the game would have to play the game and see if they can work out the
correct solution.
I have no idea how I am going to do this - how is it going to store this
"created game" - would it be possible for the Flash Projector to export a
text file with the contents of the garages and then have the player at the
other end load this text file in - or is there a simpler solution where the
Flash game can create a swf file.
I am a bit lost here - any help much appreciated
Thanks
Paul
