(For what it's worth, I think most folks will help if they can. The hard

part for readers is to know what's being asked, though... there are

generally best results with an answerable question on shared experience,

but things get harder if others read a description of movie names and other

details and have to first guess the question. Just something I've seen

online, if that skewed perspective is useful.)



Would I be correct in guessing the core question as "What things might

prevent movie loading when served, although it works fine locally?" If so,

then you seem to have proved that the program logic was functional, that's

great... you kept things in the same folder so this reduced possible path

problems, that's good... I'd wonder a bit whether the filenaming was happy

on the server, because some are case-sensitive and characters like spaces

could be handled differently on other servers... another good thing is to

make some barebones, extremely simple testing movies to just test the

concept with the minimal content, sort of like quick pencil-sketches before

committing to a larger piece... sorry I don't have a firm lock here, these

are just some things that come to mind.


Maybe other listmembers have other ways to get movie-loading to work

locally, but not served...?
